ZR Records
Effective Date: 12-09-2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your relationship with ZR Records, owned by Zesan Rahaman and managed by Akshat, in connection with music distribution, promotion, and monetization services provided by ZR Records.

By signing or entering into the ZR Records Music Agreement, you (“the Artist”) agree to abide by the following Terms:

1. Agreement Scope

• These Terms apply to all music submitted under the ZR Records Music Agreement.
• The agreement operates on a per-song or per-project basis, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Future music submissions by the Artist are automatically subject to these Terms unless stated otherwise.

2. Rights & Responsibilities

Artist’s Responsibilities:

• The Artist confirms full ownership and originality of all submitted content.
• The Artist must not submit copyrighted material they do not own or have rights to.
• The Artist is solely responsible for any legal or copyright claims arising from their content.

ZR Records’ Rights:

• ZR Records is granted a non-exclusive, worldwide right to distribute, promote, and monetize the Artist’s music across 150+ platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music).
• ZR Records may use the Artist’s name, music, and branding for promotional purposes.

3. Royalty Distribution

Net revenue (after platform fees and deductions) will be split as follows:

• Streaming Platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.):
  • Artist: 80%
  • ZR Records: 20%
• YouTube Content ID Monetization (if applicable):
  • Artist: 70%
  • ZR Records: 30%

Payments are made within 60 days of ZR Records receiving funds from platforms.

4. Copyright Infringement Policy

ZR Records maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for copyright violations.

• First Violation: Song removed; ZR Records keeps 60% of royalties from that release.
• Second Violation: Song removed; ZR Records keeps 100% of royalties from that release.
• Third Violation: Permanent termination of collaboration with the Artist.

ZR Records reserves the right to terminate agreements immediately in the event of serious or repeated violations.

5. Termination

• Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
• ZR Records may terminate immediately in cases of legal risk, copyright issues, or breach of these Terms.
• Upon termination, ZR Records will remove the Artist’s content from all platforms within 30 days and settle any outstanding royalties within 60 days.

6. Limitation of Liability

ZR Records is not responsible for:

• Third-party platform errors or delays
• Platform changes in royalty structure or availability
• Revenue loss due to takedowns or technical issues outside our control

ZR Records will, however, take reasonable steps to support the Artist in resolving any platform-related issues.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep the terms of their agreement and any sensitive business information confidential unless legally required to disclose it.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

ZR Records may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Artists will be notified of any major changes, and continued collaboration constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
